Responsibilities

  • Provide safe verbal de-escalation or physical intervention techniques with upset teen girls as they arise
  • Serve as a positive role model and enforce a supportive atmosphere
  • Communicate important observations and updates to the Shift Leads and Shift Managers
  • With an empathetic heart, encourage teen engagement in activities of daily living (ADLs) and coping skill applications

Qualifications

  • Age: 21+ years of age or older
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, Associates or bachelor's in human services, psychology, criminal justice, or related field preferred
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience working with adolescent populations preferred
  • Skills: Quick decision-making skills and a growth mindset with a focus on Embarks core values
  • Certifications: CPR and First Aid certification preferred, will provide training

Hourly pay rate: $21.00 - $23.00 an hour

Benefits

New hires are eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus, distributed in three $500 installments—after 30 days, six months, and twelve months of employment—contingent upon continued employment and meeting eligibility requirements.
