Job Summary

Artesian Homes is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our residential care team in Brainerd, MN. In this role, you will provide direct care and support to individuals with mental health diagnoses, helping them live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of others. No experience necessary!

Compensation & Benefits

• Evening shifts: Starting at $20.00/hour
• Overnight shifts: Starting at $21.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Aid individuals with activities of daily living, including:
• Personal hygiene
• Meal preparation
• Meditation administration
• Provide emotional support, encouragement, and companionship
• Transport individuals to medical appointments and community activities
• Observe, document, and report changes in behavior or health status
• Collaborate with team members to develop and follow individualized care plans
• Support individuals in building independence and community involvement

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience working with individuals with mental health diagnoses preferred (but not required)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
