About the role
Bancroft's community-based residences for people with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities foster a stable environment where each individual can experience independence. Direct Support Professionals help those in our care to reach their highest potential, while gaining experience and learning new skills.
Responsibilities
- Empower individuals to develop skills for daily life
- Support the personal growth of the people we serve
- Encourage independence through personalized plans of care
- Plan events and outings to build connections within the community
- Communicate with residents’ families and guardians
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Current driver’s license in good standing
- Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills
- Able to work weekends

Pay
The current hiring range for this position is $19.06-$19.44 per hour.
Schedule
Variety of schedules and shifts are available, including days, evenings, and overnights.
