Pay

Pay Range: $19.45‑$25.05/hr based on verifiable direct care experience. This pay range reflects 20+ years of experience/education.

About the role

Wildwood Programs is a provider of educational, residential, employment, and other community‑based supports to people with disabilities. The direct support professional will promote independence and self‑esteem to persons with disabilities in a Dayhab program site and community‑based setting. The Day Services program provides individuals the opportunity to participate in a variety of group activities throughout the day at a site or in the community.

Responsibilities

• Interact with individuals in a positive and encouraging way.
• Maintain a professional manner, patience, empathy, and a strong desire to help others.
• Introduce individuals to community‑based and site‑based activities that inspire growth.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid NYS driver’s license with a clean driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage.
• Daily access to a vehicle.
• Computer skills: email, Google Suite, database systems.
• Ability to pass SCIP/CPR certification.
• Med Certified.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Schedule

Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
