Direct Support Professional - Day Art Program - Monday - Friday 9:00am - 3:00pm

About the role

BARC is currently seeking professional, caring, and motivated Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in their Art Program.

Responsibilities

• Provide opportunities for learning new skills and independence by working on individuals’ goals and plans through various art activities.
• Administer medications and treatments meeting all guidelines and accurate documentation.
• Provide safe and nurturing environment where Individuals are treated with dignity, respect, can exercise their rights and responsibilities and are protected from abuse or neglect.
• Electronically record daily activities maintaining confidentiality and complying with all policies and procedures to protect the identity, medical, HIPPA information.
• Obtain and maintain all required certifications and trainings (in person and online).
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Requirements:
• - High school diploma or equivalent.
• - At least age 18.
• - Valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• - DDS Medication Certification will be required (we will send to training)
