Direct Support Professional: CEN Parents Only

About the role

We're looking for a Direct Support Professional (DSP) specifically for parents of children enrolled in the Children’s Extraordinary Needs (CEN) program. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide support and care while also receiving competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide help with activities of daily living (ADLs) including physical and emotional support, healthcare recommendations, behavioral interventions, and communication support
• Transport clients to appointments and daily activities
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and foster their self-esteem
• Assist with general housekeeping and home management tasks

Requirements

• Must be 18+ years of age
• Must be a parent, adoptive parent, step-parent, or legal guardian of a child enrolled in the CEN program
• Your child must be between 5-17 years of age
• Able to pass a background check
• Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Able to obtain CPR/First Aid certification (resources provided during hiring)
