Direct Support Professional (Caregiver) - Full Time 1st Shift or Part Time All Shifts - Menomonie

About the role

We are seeking passionate and committed Caregivers to work in our residential group homes, supporting adults with cognitive and mental health disabilities to live fuller, happier lives and empower independence.

Responsibilities

• Seek out opportunities for community and social integration
• Help consumers plan and prepare their choices of fun events and outings
• Assist with self-care: dressing, bathing or showering, brushing teeth, toileting, shaving
• Administer medication
• Meal preparation and planning
• Transport consumers
• Follow individual service plans
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Acceptable Background Character Verification
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record for consumer transport
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to twist, turn, squat, bend, reach, pull, push from high/low position, raise arms above shoulder, walk, sit (chair and floor), climb stairs, and use hands and fingers
• Communicate basic English
• Basic reading, writing, and internet navigation skills

Pay

$17/hr. $1.50/hr shift differential for weekend hours.

Schedule

Flexible hours; call 715-835-9202 for details. Every other weekend off.
