Direct Support Professional

Pay
$17.11 / hr
Union Dues: 0.5% per paycheck
Schedule
Tuesday - Thursday (6 am - 9 am) & Friday - Saturday (6 am - 2 pm)
Responsibilities
- Assist people with their personal hygiene
- Support individuals who can have behavioral challenges and other complex needs
- Help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities
- Support participants with developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
You’ll develop real, meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve, experience ownership and trust from your leaders, and take initiative to help participants grow, learn, and live well.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
- At least one year of active driving history (if current license was issued less than one year ago, candidates must provide a motor vehicle record, previous license, or other acceptable documentation demonstrating continuous valid licensure for at least one year)
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
