About the role
Indiana Mentor, a part of the Sevita family, provides Residential and Treatment Foster Care services to youth facing various out-of-home placements, transitions, or involvement in the juvenile justice system. Our personalized programming aims to help youth gain stability, comfort, and confidence to overcome challenges and thrive.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal hygiene tasks
- Support individuals with behavioral challenges and complex needs
- Engage in community activities to enhance participants' well-being
- Help develop and maintain relationships with participants
- Support participants in achieving developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred
- Compassion, patience, and a commitment to this type of work
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
