About the role
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is seeking dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in both their homes and communities.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene
- Helping with meal preparation and cleanup
- Supporting light housekeeping and laundry
- Offering companionship and encouragement
- Accompanying individuals to appointments, errands, or community activities
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Minimum 1 year related DSP experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to pass background and drug screenings
- Willingness to obtain CPR and First Aid training prior to your first shift
- Level 1 med aide certification preferred
- Availability for at least one weekend per month
