Direct Support Professional

About the role

At Merakey, we put heart and soul into everything we do. We are seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to join our team at our program in Aliquippa, PA. If you are a Caregiver, Direct Care Worker, Home Health aide or always wanted to be one, this is the opportunity for you as we are hiring immediately!

Responsibilities

• Create long-term impacts on individuals' lives
• Encourage, mentor, and coach others to achieve their goals
• Work in various settings to make memories with individuals
• Follow Individuals Support Plans to engage in activities like the park and sensory gardens
• Teach daily living activities such as personal care, housekeeping, and laundry
• Assist with daily and personal activities to enhance independence

Requirements

• Current valid Driver’s license
• Related experience is helpful

Qualifications

• No experience required - PAID training provided
• Earn a minimum of $18.00/hour with the option for Enhanced Pay
