About the role

The role involves providing direct support services to individuals with disabilities, focusing on daily living activities, health management, and social skills development.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in performing basic self-care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
• Monitor and record vital signs and medication schedules.
• Facilitate communication between clients and healthcare providers.
• Engage in recreational activities to promote social interaction and emotional well-being.
• Document client progress and report to supervisors and families.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Pass a background check and criminal history review.
