What You'll Do

• In-Home Assistance: Help clients with activities like preparing meals, cleaning, dressing, grooming, laundry, monitoring vital signs, bathing, toileting, technology, and other basic activities.
• Companionship: Play games, arts and crafts, and accompany clients to events like appointments, grocery shopping, and running errands.
• Community Building: Communicate with families and other staff about concerns or challenges to create a safe and positive living situation.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED
• A valid driver's license
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain before employment
• Access to insured and reliable transportation
• Recognition of the needs of others and the ability to build relationships with people from different backgrounds
• Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to spend evenings and weekends caring for clients with dignity, patience, and compassion
• Dedication to professional development, including organizational and state-required training
