As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll be more than a caregiver—you'll be a mentor, advocate, and companion. No two days are the same!- Supporting individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal care, and medication reminders
- Encouraging independence, choice, and personal growth
- Aiding in community engagement—think outings, events, jobs, and social activities!
- Helping plan and participate in fun, meaningful experiences
- Maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment
- Documenting services and following individualized service plans
Requirements
- Compassionate, reliable, and energetic individuals
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance (required)
