Direct Support Professional

About the role

At Central State Community Services Oklahoma (CSCSO), you don’t need prior experience to make a difference. We provide paid training to set you up for success as a Direct Support Professional (DSP).

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with daily living activities: dressing, bathing, grooming, and assisting with toileting needs when necessary.
• Help with meal planning and preparation following nutritional guidelines or prescribed diets.
• Auxiliary with medication administration under physician direction.
• Support individuals in community activities, including volunteering, employment preparation, and leisure outings.
• Offer transportation assistance for work, therapy, and recreational activities using agency or personal vehicles.
• Engage in fun activities like games, reading, movies, concerts, and family visits.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and individual progress.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a valid Oklahoma driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to pass a background check and meet all state requirements.

Pay

Competitive pay starting at $13.65 – $14.00/hr. Full-time or Part-time. Weekday, Overnight and Weekend shifts available.
