About the role

The Direct Support Professional will provide support to individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on promoting independence, safety, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities
• Support individuals in engaging in community activities
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment
• Document progress and communicate with supervisors and families

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for some positions)
• Passing score on a background check
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred
