About the role

Ameriwell Care supports individuals with developmental disabilities by helping them build independence, gain confidence, and stay connected to their communities. We are a provider aligned with the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supporting individuals with daily routines and essential life skills
• Assisting with personal care, meal preparation, and organization
• Accompanying individuals to community activities, appointments, and outings
• Encouraging social interaction, confidence, and independence
• Ensuring a safe, structured, and positive environment
• Recording services accurately using required electronic systems
• Staying in communication with families and the care team

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old
• Complete all required hiring clearances and screenings
• Have (or be willing to obtain) CPR and First Aid certification
• Have reliable transportation for getting to assigned cases
• Bring a positive attitude, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility
