Direct Support Professional

Job Summary

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team! In this role, you will make a difference in the community and in the lives of people with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable.

General Requirements

- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). - 18 years of age or older. - Pass a criminal background check. - Must have a reliable transportation, valid driver's license, current auto insurance and DMV printout stating a clean record with NO DUI or Reckless Driving convictions (Assistance with arranging transportation).

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is preferred - First aid and CPR certified - Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Compassionate, respectful, ethical

About ABLE

Our mission is to provide high quality community-based services to adults with developmental disabilities. All services will be person centered and aide in the development of various skills necessary to become and maintain an active participant in their community. Our program will aid with volunteer opportunities, vocational training of their choice, and support to obtain paid employment if desired. Individuals will be empowered to take responsibility for their own needs and desires with confidence as part of their daily routine with support and guidance from staff.

Compensation

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
