Direct Support Manager - Allen County

About the role

This is a full-time position responsible for providing leadership over the home serving adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities. The role provides assistance in planning and implementation of the services/outcomes for each individual, communicates progress, establishes and maintains professional relationships with all members of the team, and ensures the welfare and safety of each consumer at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provides support and supervision to the Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in the home
• Ensures quality services are delivered to the people we serve
• On-call responsibilities after normal business hours, including nights and weekends

Requirements

• Strong communication, writing, time management, and organizational skills
• Able to use discretion and make independent decisions based on good judgment
• Good problem solving and conflict resolution skills
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance
• Acceptable employment and background screenings
• At least 21 years of age
