About the role

Experiences and Adventures for All Abilities is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating inclusive outdoor experiences and a strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement inclusive outdoor programs that cater to individuals with various abilities
• Collaborate with program staff to ensure all activities are accessible and enjoyable for all participants
• Assist in the planning and execution of special events and workshops
• Maintain and update participant records and documentation
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Outdoor Education, Special Education, or a related field
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities and a demonstrated understanding of accessibility needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

Qualifications

• Passionate about promoting inclusivity and accessibility in outdoor settings
• Ability to adapt to changing environments and situations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Skills

• Outstanding customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and techniques
