About the role

The Direct Sales Supervisor will serve a critical role for the residential door-to-door sales team, providing support for a team of Direct Sales Representatives in all aspects of the sales process—before, during, and after—while also coaching, training, and delivering feedback. This position is a selling leader accountable for delivering on sales objectives and driving results for the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Directly support the Area Sales Manager with responsibilities related to delivering results that drive profitable growth and increase market penetration.
  • Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new Direct Sales Representatives (DSRs).
  • Lead, train, coach, and develop a team of 4-12 DSRs.
  • Partner with the Area Sales Manager to manage all aspects of the DSR team’s performance, including tracking results, communicating KPIs, setting expectations, delivering feedback, and holding individuals accountable.
  • Lead from the front by implementing strategies to meet individual and team sales targets, including traveling in the field and selling directly.
  • Mentor employees to ensure equitable treatment and support their success.
  • Maintain sales production to meet or exceed individual targets.
  • Designate and communicate territory assignments to the DSR team to align with market penetration goals.
  • Execute residential customer acquisition strategies, including door-to-door sales, prospecting, events, information sessions, and pop-ups.
  • Ensure the sales team is equipped with the tools, knowledge, and skills to meet performance goals.
  • Prioritize continuous improvement and employee development through training initiatives using internal and external resources.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with experience in customer relations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous sales and/or sales support experience is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (local travel required; mileage allowance provided).

Pay

Base Salary: $35,000 - $42,000 plus uncapped commission. Total target compensation: $70,000 — $125,000.
