About the role

The Direct Sales Agent Specialist is responsible for driving sales growth by engaging with interested prospective customers, all while working remotely. No cold calling is involved; instead, connections are made through inbound calls and proactive outbound calls with active insurance shoppers.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by engaging with interested prospective customers
  • No cold calling—Connect through inbound calls and proactive outbound calls with active insurance shoppers
  • Sell reputable products from Allstate and our family of brands
  • Build rapport and trust with customers to understand their needs
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals through new product sales and cross-selling of existing customers
  • Initiate outbound calling to established target customer base for product offerings
  • Monitor key competitors in the local market area and make suggestions to improve the company’s position
  • Work with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes to achieve production and growth goals
  • Deliver optimal results within appropriate metrics, including quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction, and financial performance
  • Understand, promote, and remain current on company underwriting guidelines, announcements, and memos related to changes in company policies and procedures
  • Receive customer payments, issue receipts, and verify reports of receipts for cash drawers

Qualifications

  • 0 – 2 years of experience
  • P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company

  • Maintains and grows a book of business through new product sales and cross-selling of existing customers
  • Leverages community contacts to build a sales pipeline and establish referral sources

Compensation

Base compensation: $20.00 per hour

Total Compensation: In addition to the base hourly rate, total compensation for this role may include incentive pay, such as commissions and bonuses, based on individual and team performance.
