DIRECT JUVENILE SUPPORT WORKER/COACH COUNSELOR
About the role
Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Direct Juvenile Support Worker/Coach Counselor at The Dermott Juvenile Treatment Center (DJTC) in Dermott, Arkansas. DJTC is a secure residential program for at-risk male youth ages 18-21, located outside of Dermott, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, DJTC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on-site school and library, vocational training program, medical and an outdoor recreation area.
Pay
$17.75 - $18.82 per hour based on education and experience. Schedule includes 4 hours of guaranteed overtime each pay period. Bonus: Receive a $1000 Bonus upon completion of Essential Skills Training with us!

Requirements
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test
- Be able to pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry
Schedule
- Nights - 4 days on / 3 off
- Days - 3½ days on / 3½ off
- Day Shift: 7am – 9pm (14-hour shift, 2-hour break)
- Night Shift: 9pm – 7am (10-hour shift, no-hour break)
