Direct Hire Production Technician

Typical Duties

• Assembly of components and sub-components, including the manual or automated operation of machinery or tools.
• Work requires extended periods of standing or repetitive motion such as gripping, reaching, bending, pushing, or pulling.
• Examples of tasks include using air actuated tools, weld guns; placing parts in fixtures, packing parts in shipping containers, placing parts on belts & conveyors, retrieving parts from machines to racks or bins.
• Moving materials & products to & from the work area, which may involve lifting up to forty pounds.
• Ensure the quality of the product through periodic cross-training and movement between simple assembly and machine operation.
• Recordkeeping, either manually or by data entry, including daily production reports, process checklists, timekeeping, scrap & reject results, or machine time.
• Physical requirements as set out above.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience for Direct Hire.
• No High School Diploma or GED required.

Pay

$17.25 per hour plus $1.50 shift premium for 3rd shift.

Schedule

Standard forty-hour week with overtime as required by management.
