About the role
Maximum Care, Inc. is seeking a Direct Care Worker to join their team in East Allentown, PA. They have been in operation for over 40 years, providing support to the elderly, disabled, and participants with intellectual disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Care for Participants in the Lehigh Valley
- Provide light housekeeping, run errands, or provide transportation if needed
- Accompany clients to appointments and assist/remind with medications
- Prepare meals, purchase food, and provide personal assistance with general living needs
- Personal services could include toileting, bathing, feeding, and grooming
- Provide companionship and conversation by stimulating, encouraging, and assisting an individual
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to complete a Criminal Background report
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds at a time
- Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and stand for (sometimes) a long period of time
