Direct Care Worker

ExpertCare is looking for reliable, compassionate, and helpful Direct Care Workers to work 1:1 with our Recipients. You will be working in our clients' homes, supporting, encouraging, and helping with skill-building activities. You will also be bringing them into the community to help grow and strengthen their personal goals outside of their home environment. ExpertCare services the Community of Mental Health Recipients in Southeast Michigan. Full and part-time positions are available!
Responsibilities
- Support and encourage skill-building activities in clients' homes
- Accompany clients into the community to help grow and strengthen their personal goals
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
- Reliable transportation to and from assignments
- Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
- Must be 18 years or older
