Direct Care Worker
Position Summary
This Residential Care Aid position would be serving residents in one of Northern Lakes Community Mental Health Authority's (NLCMHA) licensed specialized residential homes. The authority serves adults with mental illness, intellectual/developmental disabilities, autism, and serious/persistent mental illness.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- Able to work in a "Culture of Gentleness" environment
- Able to implement Person Centered Planning
- Personal care
- Activities of Daily Living
- Pass medication
- Meal Preparation
- Cleaning/Sanitization
- Transportation
- Electronic data entry
Basic Qualifications
- At least 18-years old
- Mi driver’s license (unrestricted)
- HS Diploma or GED
- Pass a Physical Exam including lift test
- Pass criminal background check
- Negative TB test
