About the role
The position is responsible for providing a safe, secure, and healthy environment for an individual with developmental disabilities while working towards the individual’s goals, transporting the consumer to outings in the community in addition to assistance with daily living.
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, secure, and healthy environment for an individual with developmental disabilities
- Work towards the individual’s goals
- Transport the consumer to outings in the community
- Assistance with daily living activities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR/First Aid
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License (required)
- Caregiving experience: 1 year (preferred)
