Direct Care Worker

About the role

The position is responsible for providing a safe, secure, and healthy environment for individuals with developmental disabilities while working towards the individual’s goals, addressing basic health needs and transporting the consumer to outings in the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, secure, and healthy environment for individuals with developmental disabilities
• Work towards the individual’s goals
• Address basic health needs
• Transport the consumer to outings in the community

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• CPR/First Aid (training available)
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License (required)
• Caregiving experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Driver's License (required)
• Ability to relocate to New Haven, MI before starting work (required)
