Direct Care Worker

Specific open clients:

• Muncy Female client – Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM. Driver preferred. Must cover all hours.
• Muncy Female client – Monday–Thursday, 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM and Friday, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Dementia experience a plus.

About the role

As a Home Health Aide (HHA) at BAYADA, you will reliably serve patients in the following counties: [county one, county two, county three] within our ACSP Division. You will provide personal care services, household support, and companion care to help adults stay safe and independent at home, following a written plan of care by a registered nurse.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living: bathing, grooming, toileting, nail care, etc.
• Provide household support: light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding
• Support range of motion exercises
• Assist with ambulation, including transfers and use of mechanical lifting devices
• Provide medication reminders
• Travel to clients’ homes as assigned
• Deliver patient care with compassion, excellence, and reliability

Requirements

• Previous home health care or patient care experience welcomed, but not required (training provided)
• A passion for caregiving and a desire to help others
• A commitment to being present and providing quality care
• Empathy, patience, kindness, and respect
• Ability to travel to clients’ homes as assigned
