About the role
ExpertCare is looking for reliable, compassionate, and helpful Direct Care Workers to support, encourage, and help with skill building activities for our Community of Mental Health Recipients in Southeast Michigan.
Responsibilities
- Work 1:1 with Recipients in their homes
- Support and encourage Recipients in their daily lives
- Bring Recipients into the community to achieve personal goals
- Follow care plans and support independent living skills
Requirements
- Compassionate, patient, and dependable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans
- Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities
- Reliable transportation to and from assignments
- Ability to pass required background checks and screenings
- Must be 18 years or older
