Direct Care Team Members

About the role

Join Spread Your Wings, LLC as a Direct Care Staff in Supported Living Services (SLS). We provide a safe and supportive environment tailored to each client’s specific needs and desires, helping them live the life they want as independently as possible.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in building independent living skills (e.g., cooking, budgeting, hygiene).
• Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.
• Help plan, create, and organize tasks and schedules that promote goal achievement for your clients.
• Provide consistent documentation of progress through case notes.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation.
• Able to work in the San Leandro area.
• Experience with high behaviors preferred.
• Able to pass a background check (per state industry standards).
• Digital literacy: MS Word, email, basic data entry (report/notes).

Qualifications

• Have a heart for helping others and believe in treating people with dignity and respect.
• Strong communicator, dependable, and a creative problem-solver.
• Can problem solve and adapt to different client needs.
• Comfortable working independently in one-on-one settings.
• Behavioral health experience is a plus.

Pay

$20.00 per hour.
