Direct Care Support Staff

Responsibilities

• Helping the clients to become as self-sufficient as they are physically and mentally able.
• Helping the client prepare meals.
• Assisting the client with hygiene needs such as toileting, showering, and changing briefs when needed.
• Helping the client make the best choices for themselves, such as choosing healthy menus.
• Taking the clients out into the community and attending events with them.
• Preparing crafts and other appropriate activities for the clients.
• Maintaining a safe and sanitary living environment, including basic housekeeping and laundry.

• An interest in helping individuals with disabilities achieve their greatest potential.

Pay

$16.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Weekday mornings: 6am - 9:45 am
• Weekend shifts available
