Starting Rate

The starting rate has been increased to $16.00 per hour.

About the Role

The Direct Care staff provides various services to our clients, including:

• Helping clients to become as self-sufficient as possible
• Assisting with daily tasks such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and changing briefs
• Making choices for the clients that promote their independence
• Taking clients out into the community, attending events, and engaging in activities like crafts
• Maintaining a safe and sanitary living environment

Responsibilities

• Aiding clients with personal hygiene needs
• Encouraging clients to make choices that benefit them
• Taking clients out into the community and attending events
• Preparing and facilitating activities for clients
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of living spaces

Qualifications

Requirements for this position include:

• A compassionate, caring, energetic, and fun personality
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Ability to help clients achieve greater levels of independent living
