Direct Care Substitute

Lifesteps, a local human service agency with over 100 years of service, is hiring compassionate Caregivers to work with adults who have disabilities in residential homes in the Kittanning and Worthington, PA areas.

About the role

Direct Care Aides (Caregivers) assist adult individuals with daily living skills and home care, including cooking, cleaning, shopping, personal care assistance, medication administration, and goal attainment. This is a flexible substitute position working up to 19.5 hours per week.

Schedule

• Daylight: 7 am to 3 pm
• Evenings: 3 pm to 11 pm
• Overnight: 11 pm to 7 am

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances
