Direct Care Staff

About the role

Chrysalis is seeking to hire part-time Direct Care Staff to support individuals with developmental disabilities to lead self-directed, meaningful lives.

Responsibilities

• Support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in participating in fun activities
• Support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in budgeting
• Support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in meal preparation
• Support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in trying new things
• Support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in shopping
• Mentor people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to learn new skills
• Support people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in transporting themselves out in the community/sight seeing

Requirements

• MUST be willing to work weekends and weekday evenings/swing shifts

Qualifications and Skills

• No experience needed
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
• Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus, but we're willing to train you

Pay

The entry-level position starts at a competitive wage of $15.00-$17.75/hr, depending on experience.

Schedule

Positions needing to be filled: Weekends & Weekday evenings/swing shifts
