Direct care staff

Main Responsibilities

• Provide care and maintain a safe environment for children in the group home
• Direct interactions, including behavioral management and facilitating therapeutic, recreational, and social life skills
• Transport clients to school, work, visits, or other activities using a Ford Transit
• Cook from scratch according to a menu, clean throughout the shift to ensure the group home is ready, and deescalate conflicts and crises
• Handle multiple forms of paperwork daily
• Have a working phone and basic understanding of technology

• Able to work as part of a team
• Sound judgment and enjoyment of working with teenagers
