Unit Description

This is a 24-bed unit where we care for patients with a variety of healthcare needs. We are the designated Stroke Unit and provide care for:

• Respiratory compromised patients on BiPAP, high-flow oxygen, and/or chronic long-term ventilators
• Patients requiring manipulation and titration of vasoactive infusions
• Patients with bedside monitors
• Conditions such as DKA, CHF, pneumonia, and more

Requirements

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State RN License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire
• One of the following nursing degrees:
  • RN-Associate’s Degree
  • RN-Bachelor’s Degree
  • RN-Diploma
  • RN-Master’s Degree
