Responsibilities

• Support adults with development disabilities in their homes.
• Implement individualized programs as specified in Individual Service Plans.
• Provide for individuals' health and welfare.
• Ensure general cleanliness and safety in individuals' homes.
• Provide opportunities for individuals to integrate into the community and enjoy outings that interest them.
• Encourage rapport with local resources.
• Instruct and assist with meal preparation.
• Assistance with activities of daily living.
• Instruct and physically assist with housekeeping activities.
• Administer and document medication or monitor medical health.
• Aid in financial management.
• Ensure home is safe.

Requirements

• Be a compassionate person and enjoy making a difference in someone's life.
• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• A qualifying criminal background check and driving record.
• Valid drivers license.

Qualifications

• Candidates with an interest in CNA, PCA, and HHA type work are encouraged to apply.
• Students in Human Services, Psychology, and Sociology programs are encouraged to apply.

Pay

• $19.00 / hour
• $20.00 / hour (after one year of benefit eligible employment)

Schedule

• Mondays-Saturdays
• 12pm-8pm
