Direct Care Aide

About the role

Lifesteps is hiring Direct Care staff to work part-time in the Worthington and Kittanning, PA area. Lifesteps is a local human service agency with over 100 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Aid in daily living skills and home care tasks including cooking, cleaning, shopping, personal care assistance, and medication administration.
• Work with adults who have disabilities in a residential home setting.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift up to 200 lbs. with assistance.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Must obtain and provide proof of ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances.

Qualifications

• No prior experience necessary, paid training provided.
• Experienced home health aides and direct support professionals welcome.
