DIR - OUTPATIENT SERVICES

Responsibilities

• Provides overall leadership and oversees the day-to-day operations of the Outpatient Department.
• Directs the clinical and administrative supervision of all employees in the outpatient department, Transportation Department & the Clients Rights Officer.
• Conducts assessments, facilitates lead group therapy sessions, and manages emergencies as needed based on census and staff absences.
• Available to fill in for any outpatient program when needed.
• Works closely with the Assistant Administrator to develop programming and services to best meet patient needs.
• Collaborates with other departments to ensure patients transitioning from inpatient units are smoothly transitioned to this level of care.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling, with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in progressively more responsible positions.
• Licensed Independent Social Work (LISW) with supervisory endorsement (S) or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) with supervisory endorsement.
• Chemical dependency credentials strongly preferred.
• Trained in non-violent crisis intervention training and CPR prior to accepting independent assignment or released from orientation.
