Responsibilities

  • Performs thorough health evaluation on all new residents upon move-in to the community.
  • Makes quarterly or more frequent evaluations of current residents’ health status.
  • Maintains compliance with service plans to meet resident needs.
  • Coordinates and attends resident care conferences and service plan reviews.
  • Investigates and reports suspected resident abuse, and coordinates with appropriate parties.
  • Supervises all Assisted Living and Memory Support personnel.
  • Hires, coaches, orientations, schedules, and trains staff.
  • Provides evaluations and communicates employee relations issues to the Executive Director.
  • Conducts disciplinary actions and ensures documentation meets Company policies.
  • Attends and participates in various meetings, including management, staff, support group, council of elders, and family night gatherings.
  • Conducts community audits with the Executive Director and The Support Center, reviewing swing and night shifts for compliance and safety.
  • Reviews and investigates incident reports, and implements corrective action as needed.
  • Supports the Executive Director in ensuring continuous quality improvement activities and resolving service-related issues.
  • Performs clinical audits as required and requested by the management company.
  • Maintains compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to clinical and risk management activities.
  • Maintains a safe working environment and manages workplace injuries according to company procedures.
  • Fosters teamwork and positivity among co-workers, residents, and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare, nursing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare administration or similar field.
  • Current certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Experience with HIPAA, OSHA, and state survey requirements.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
