Dining Supervisor, Wisconsin Room

About the Role
The Dining Supervisor I provides support to the restaurant management team through a variety of administrative and operational tasks and additional oversight of front-of-house restaurant staff. Manage guest requests, complaints, and questions, ensuring all aspects are communicated to the appropriate leadership.
Responsibilities
- Assist management with daily administrative tasks.
- Accurately process all new hire and employee change paperwork in a timely manner.
- Greet guests and present them with the menu, informing them about special items for the day and menu changes.
- Suggest food and beverages to guests using appropriate upselling methods.
- Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Process payment transactions.
- Clear and reset table settings and linens as needed.
- Communicate with guests and provide assistance with questions.
- Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
- Assist with food and beverage service per the course of order.
- Promptly respond to guest requests.
- Prepare mixed drinks for service (must be 18 or over and licensed).
- Understand and communicate products and services available at the resort.
- Assist with stocking and maintaining restaurant par stock levels and side stations.
- Help other areas of the restaurant as needed.
- Oversee dining room flow and ensure proper distribution of assigned stations.
- Create and execute special projects and assignments.
- Assist in answering telephone calls from guests.
- Perform the responsibilities of Servers, Bartenders, and Host/Hostess as needed.
Requirements
- Safe Serve Certified, as applicable.
- Must be 18 years old.
- 3+ years’ experience in a restaurant.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Schedule
This is a part-time position working weekends and weekdays. Hours vary between 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm.
