Dining Supervisor, Wisconsin Room

About the Role

The Dining Supervisor I provides support to the restaurant management team through a variety of administrative and operational tasks and additional oversight of front-of-house restaurant staff. Manage guest requests, complaints, and questions, ensuring all aspects are communicated to the appropriate leadership.

Responsibilities

• Assist management with daily administrative tasks.
• Accurately process all new hire and employee change paperwork in a timely manner.
• Greet guests and present them with the menu, informing them about special items for the day and menu changes.
• Suggest food and beverages to guests using appropriate upselling methods.
• Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Process payment transactions.
• Clear and reset table settings and linens as needed.
• Communicate with guests and provide assistance with questions.
• Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with food and beverage service per the course of order.
• Promptly respond to guest requests.
• Prepare mixed drinks for service (must be 18 or over and licensed).
• Understand and communicate products and services available at the resort.
• Assist with stocking and maintaining restaurant par stock levels and side stations.
• Help other areas of the restaurant as needed.
• Oversee dining room flow and ensure proper distribution of assigned stations.
• Create and execute special projects and assignments.
• Assist in answering telephone calls from guests.
• Perform the responsibilities of Servers, Bartenders, and Host/Hostess as needed.

Requirements

• Safe Serve Certified, as applicable.
• Must be 18 years old.
• 3+ years’ experience in a restaurant.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Schedule

This is a part-time position working weekends and weekdays. Hours vary between 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm.
