Dining Supervisor (McDaniel College)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversight of front end production
• Follows opening procedures, including opening and handling cash drawers
• Complies with all policies and procedures, including food and physical safety programs
• Communicates any issues of concern to management (customer issues, cleanliness, safety concerns or security concerns)
• Follows all safety requirements at accounts
• Affirms adherence to grooming and appearance standards
• Performs any other duties as specified by management

Requirements

• Previous culinary/foodservice experience required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Successful team leadership experience
• Moving, bending, stooping, lifting and standing on a frequent basis
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently; lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary
