Dining Supervisor

About the role
The Dining Supervisor develops, plans, coordinates and executes the food service activities of the Independent Living and Personal Care areas, personally or through delegating duties to kitchen staff ensuring the highest quality of food production, presentation, delivery and clean up.
Responsibilities
- Plan, assign and direct work while providing continuous coaching and mentoring on standards and policies.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to successfully meet budget and cost efficiently within the kitchen and serving functions for daily operation.
- Conduct regular quality and compliance checks.
- Participate in ongoing process of Quality Improvement to evaluate and improve upon services and standards.
- Cooks 20 hours a week and more as needed.
- Act as Manager on Duty as required.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- ServSafe certification is required.
- 2+ years of experience in a dietary capacity preferred.
- Experience in senior living or retirement community preferred.

Pay
$21.00–$22.00 per hour.
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours weekly.
- Hours: 11:00 am–7:30 pm four days a week, one day 7:00 am–3:30 pm.
- Every other weekend 7:00 am–3:30 pm.
