Dining Services Server - Part-Time
About the role
The Lutheran Home is seeking a part-time, hospitality-minded Dining Services Server to join our healthcare community kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Serve food attractively while ensuring proper temperatures and sanitation standards
- Record all food temps
- Safely operate and maintain food service equipment
- Perform daily cleaning and follow sanitary guidelines
- Absorb and record resident dietary needs and preferences
- Properly rotate, label, and date food products
- Foster teamwork between departments for efficient, coordinated food delivery and service
- Interact warmly with residents and families
- Support kitchen operations by promptly delivering items, running supplies, and filling in for other roles as needed
Requirements
- Excellent customer service skills
- Time management
- Attention to detail
- Minimum age of 18
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Dietary experience preferred

This position is regularly scheduled to work: Mondays and Fridays: 3:30 PM – 7:00 PM Saturdays and Sundays: 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM
