Dining Server -Showalter - Full-Time Day Shift
About the role
Warm Hearth Village is searching for dedicated Full-Time Dining Server to become part of the team at the Showalter Center. FREE MEALS EVERY SHIFT YOU WORK! No previous experience in food service is required--we're looking for people with excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and a desire to work as a part of a team. We provide company-paid ServSafe certification and CPR/FA, along with uniforms and work shoes. This position can be a stepping stone to further career opportunities throughout Warm Hearth Village and the wider healthcare field. This is a great way to get your foot in the door in dining services and at Warm Hearth Village.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents upon arrival and serve them in a timely manner
- Assure dining room is cleaned and stocked
- Wash and sanitize dishes and equipment
- Handle food in a safe and sanitary manner according to local and state guidelines
- Communicate suggestions from residents to managers
- Assist in meal preparation
- Attend in-service trainings and department meetings
Requirements
- Be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds
- Ability to walk and stand for the majority of each shift
Schedule
5:00am - 1:30pm or 6am - 2:30pm with every other weekend shifts.

Pay
Starting base wage is $14.00 per hour
