Dining Server / Culinary Assistant

About the role

Culinary Assistant Farmstead Living is seeking Culinary Assistants to join the Dining Services team. Full‑time and part‑time positions are available, with weekend opportunities. Shifts are 7 am – 3 pm (full‑time or part‑time) and 4 pm – 7 pm (part‑time).

Requirements

• Minimum age 16 years
• Previous food service experience preferred but not required
• Positive attitude
• Friendly with excellent customer service skills
• Reliable and dependable
• Team‑player

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and offer menu choices to residents in a cheerful, respectful, and professional manner
• Follow established portion control guidelines
• Clean and sanitize dishes, tables, equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and according to sanitation standards
• Assist with food preparation and meal service as assigned
• Store leftovers and food items according to food safety and handling procedures
• Pre‑soak, sort, wash, and properly store dishes, utensils, and cookware
