Including hostess, cashiers, waitresses and bus-persons. Prepares work schedules. Trains new employees. Greets guest upon their arrival to the dining room. Maintains cleanliness of dining room area. Maintains records. Arranges the tables to accommodate groups. Assist when necessary to waitresses and sets up for groups. Daily Receipts. Inventory. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Two years of food service experience in any of the following areas: full-service restaurant, state resort park, hospital, commercial dining room. Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Food service experience in any of the following areas will substitute for the education on year for year basis: full service restaurant, state resort park, hospital, or commercial dining room. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): NONE Working Conditions Works in dining room setting. Probationary Period This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111.
