Responsibilities
- Preparing hot entrées, soups, vegetables, and side dishes for multiple dining venues
- Following recipes and production sheets to ensure consistency and excellence
- Applying best practices in food preparation, handling, sanitation, and safety
- Conducting food quality checks, temperature monitoring, and taste testing for every meal
- Completing advance food preparation and maintaining accurate production records
- Properly storing ingredients and prepared foods according to safety guidelines
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
- Following safe work practices, including lifting, bending, and equipment operation procedures
- Supporting emergency preparedness and safety initiatives as needed
- Collaborating with team members and other departments to create a positive dining experience
- Assisting with additional duties that support departmental success
Requirements
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-focused environment
- Previous cooking experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a related setting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Dependable, positive, and customer-service oriented attitude
- Creativity and enthusiasm for preparing memorable meals
- Ability to speak and read in English

Pay
$20.00 - $22.25/hour (final offer based on experience, skills, and qualifications)
